We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@rojan.co.za.

Please bear in mind you are purchasing a second hand engine/gearbox and that there will always be an element of wear and tear of the parts in the engine, gearbox, diff and other used parts. Please make sure you are entirely happy with your purchase. Please read your purchase warranty and understand the contents there off. Thank you

PURCHASERS RESPONSIBILITY
Engines
1. Removal and fitting of engine
2. Replacement of oil,and filters
3. Tuning and timing
4. Checking of oil pressure
5. Pressure test of radiator and cooling system
6. Fit new radiator cap and thermostat
7. Fit new timing belt or chain
8. Replace waterpump welch plugs and oil seals

Gearbox/Diff
1. Removal and fitting of gearbox and diff
2. Balancing of propshaft
3. Fitting of spigot shaft bearing or bush
4. Fitting of new seals all round
5. Inspect fuller nut for defects
6. Use correct oil , must be manufacturers spec
7. Fill correct amount of oil
8.No guarantee on automatic gearboxes
VERY IMPORTANT !

Engine must be fitted by a qualified mechanic RMI approved Do not overheat engine .a heat tab will be fitted , if removed or melted, guarantee will be null and void
Check oil level before starting
Make sure temperature gauge is working
Check oil pressure fit new oil pump
Check viscose fan and electric fan operation
Service engine and change oil filter
Engine has to be registered within 21 days at a local traffic authority
Hanging parts such as starters, alternators, diesel pumps, turbo injectors ,carbs ,covers, etc. are not guaranteed what so ever Engines gearboxes and diff run without oil or incorrect oil are not guaranteed
Mountings need to be checked


If units are tampered or interfered with , without proper authorisation in writing guarantee will be null and void
Faulty items must be returned within seven days, costs involved will be for buyers account
We are not responsible for any costs involved in exchange or transport of units
No exchange of units without prior inspection by ourselves as to ascertain the problem.
Buy out engines will be submitted to suppliers terms and conditions of warranty whether implied or not will be not be considered The guarantee is limited to repair or exchange of the unit at the discretion of Rojan Engines & Gearboxes Pty (Ltd).


No other claims of any description what so ever whether implied or not will be not be considered
All units remain the property of Rojan Engines and Gearboxes until paid in full
